“Lovely, great location and start to New Zealand Holiday. We chose this boutique property to start our NZ Holiday. It is close to the botanical gardens so we were able to enjoy a stroll in the gardens after landing and a long day. Our business room was smallish but cosy, with a comfortable bed and warm tiled bathroom. The host recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. We had a good continental breakfast to start our day. A good alternative to the big chain hotels” – April 2018

“Very nice place. Although we had a small room, there was a lovely lounge to sit in. Also an outside area if the weather was nice. Continental breakfast was very good. Very good location being very close to the botanical gardens and museum and a 10 min walk into the city. The hosts kindly let us use their bathroom to freshen up before we left for the airport in the afternoon” – February 2018

“The Place to Stay in Christchurch. We started a 2 week stay in New Zealand at the Classic Villa. The property and rooms were exceptional. The location is excellent and gave us easy access to all of Christchurch, especially the Botanical Gardens. The morning breakfast is unbelievable full of local seasonal items. We would highly recommend the Classic Villa if you are considering a visit to Christchurch” – January 2018

“Convenient! We spent a night here to take Tranz Alpine train the next day. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes walk to botanical gardens and an easy walk from Margaret Mahy playground and town center. We had a corporate room on first floor which I felt was small and stuffy and a twin room upstairs which was spacious and airy. The breakfast area is set up beautifully and there is a nice sitting area and a very pretty patio. Breakfast was good with lots of options” – December 2017

“Well-Located & Well-Appointed B&B in Christchurch. Our family of five enjoyed our 2-night stay at this beautiful B&B. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and despite being on a busy street, noise was not an issue at all. We loved the location just a block from the botanical gardens. The breakfast spread was ample with nice variety, and there was always fruit and beverages available around the clock. The proprietors did a nice job handling the crowd of 24 guests. One suggestion: they probably shouldn’t offer an optional full breakfast for additional payment since it was not available during our stay” – December 2017
